The upcoming April show in Cincinnati boasts four days of classes, special exhibits, hundreds of exhibitors to shop…not mention the gorgeous quilts. In 2011, over 19,000 quilt enthusiasts attended the Spring Festival in Cincinnati and enjoyed shopping 384 booths, participating in more than 80 classes, and viewing over 500 quilts and fabric art pieces. This year’s show promises more of the same. You can view the 2012 schedule here: http://www.quilts.com/newHome/shows/viewer.php?page=SpringFestival
The International Quilt Festivals are produced by Quilts, Inc., the same organization that brings us the International Quilt Market each Spring and Fall. The first festival was held in 1974 and they have been going strong ever since. They lead the industry in quilting shows, academies, and markets.
